Posted March 15, 2018 04:33:00 When you build a garden fence around an area, you may be tempted to build it in a straight line and keep it at the same height.
But it can be more effective to build the fence in a manner that allows the soil to expand as the fence is raised, according to a new study.
The study was conducted by scientists from the University of Washington and the Oregon Department of Forestry.
The research is published online in the journal PLOS ONE.
The researchers compared the results of two different types of garden fences.
The first was a garden-type fence made of concrete or wooden posts.
The second was a fence made out of wood posts.
When the researchers put the two types of fences together, they found that both fences were effective in reducing erosion in the soil.
The two fences had similar erosion resistance.
But the difference between the two was that the garden fence was able to hold up to more than a mile of soil, while the wooden fence held up to 1,000 square feet.
The fence’s advantage in retaining soil over the wood fence was also evident.
The garden fence did better than the wooden one in retaining a certain amount of moisture in the air and keeping out rain and snow.
The results are important for homeowners considering using the garden-style fence for landscaping, as it is the only type that is a good choice for people living in homes with lots of grass or other vegetation.
This type of fence will hold up in a rainstorm, where the water is sucked out and the grass gets washed away.
The findings are important, said lead author Eric C. Miller, a UW doctoral student who led the study.
He said there are several reasons why garden fences may be more suited for homeowners.
The wooden fence was designed for people who have a narrow living space, which makes it less suitable for people with wider living spaces.
Miller and his colleagues used a variety of techniques to analyze the different types and their potential advantages and disadvantages.
The most important thing to remember is that you need to understand your environment, said Miller, who was also an assistant professor in the UW Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
It is important to know what the soil is like, as well as what the landscape is like.
The goal of building a fence is to keep things in place, Miller said.
The best way to accomplish this is to design the fence that will hold it in place.
To achieve that, Miller and colleagues used three different methods.
They used the same type of garden fence as they did in their previous study, and they took advantage of several different types, including different types with different materials, different types that were similar to the wooden and wood fences, and different types in which the posts were connected.
The team also measured how well the fences held up under different conditions.
In the first method, they built a garden type fence in two parts.
One part was a horizontal fence that held up the soil and provided a solid foundation for the other two parts of the fence.
The other part of the garden type fencing was an inverted fence that provided a foundation for a smaller section of the structure.
The inverted fence allowed the soil that was pulled out of the soil at the top of the post to be held up.
The vertical portion of the inverted fence was the same as the horizontal fence.
In addition, the vertical fence required the posts to be placed at different heights.
When they put the fence together, the posts held up better than they did with the horizontal and inverted fences, but they were still not as strong as the vertical posts.
Miller said the garden types also held up best in the summer because they were much cheaper.
They also had better drainage.
In contrast, the wood fences did not hold up as well.
They could be torn down by rain and even freeze.
Wood fences are more expensive than other types of fence, and the costs can add up quickly if you have a large lawn or a large yard.
The cost of building and maintaining a garden fences is not a great deal for most people, Miller told Live Science.
But for people whose income depends on their garden, the garden fences are a good investment.
Miller thinks the results could help homeowners who want to install a garden or other landscaping system that will not only hold up the garden, but also maintain the landscape.
“This research shows that it is possible to make a difference with a simple and cost-effective design,” he said.
